As brands continue to cycle nameplates from deep in their archives, General Motors is no different. Known for its exceptional truck offerings, GMC brings forward a riff on the venerable Hummer with a new twist. This week, it’s the all-electric 2026 GMC Hummer Pickup.

Powered by a 24-module battery pack, which offers up to 380 mile range with its 205 kWh battery pack, this $10,000 upgrade gives an additional 70 miles on top of its 310 mile range with the standard three-motor performance e4WD 19.2 KW high voltage charging module.

Added into our week-long tester was a Carbon Fiber Edition Package, which added Magnus Grey Matte paint, velocity ember interior, 22-inch carbon fiber black wheels and skid plate, black-painted approach shield and black emblems. For an additional $10K, this was a great way to add exterior appeal.

On the inside, it’s buttons galore, and we love that. The easy-to-use 13.4-inch high-contrast digital infotainment system was nicely located and simple to use. The center console was huge, and the seats were exceptionally comfortable, just designed for those long-range drives with that big battery pack. Weighing in at over 9,000 pounds, the Hummer EV 3X brings out the best in the EV pickup market.

Aesthetically, this monster truck on street legal tires is big and bold. Its powerful, usable and comfortable all at the same time, while having the get up and go from instant electric power.

Although big, its rear-steer component makes turning easy. It's fun to ride in, and a blast for all passengers and onlookers alike. With GMC’s continued success in the truck market, the addition of the Hummer EV is easily all the craze and one that will be fun forever.
