Jim Bakker funeral services announced. PTL televangelist died Monday, wife says

Televangelist Jim Bakker’s funeral services were announced Tuesday by the Jim Bakker Show based in Branson, Missouri.
His viewing and funeral are set for Monday, Oct. 12, at 180 Grace Chapel Road in Blue Eye, Missouri, according to the show. The viewing is at 11 a.m. and the service at 1 p.m.
Blue Eye is on the Missouri-Arkansas line, about 21 miles southwest of Branson.
Bakker, whose PTL empire near Charlotte collapsed during sex and money scandals in the 1980s, died Monday, according to his wife, Lori, on his Instagram page. She did not say how he died or where. He was 86.
The funeral also will be streamed live on The Jim Bakker Show Facebook page, the show’s YouTube channel and on the PTL Television Network.
“We would be honored to have you join us as we celebrate his life and legacy,” show officials said Tuesday.
