Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly taken by ambulance for medical treatment early Saturday for a head injury suffered in a fall at the federal prison where he’s serving time.

It was not clear where he had been treated or how exactly he had hurt his head, TMZ reported. Sources at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute in New Jersey told TMZ that the hip-hop mogul, who is about a year into a 50-month sentence for transporting people for prostitution, was back at the institution before daybreak Saturday after leaving in an ambulance at about 1 a.m. He was conscious and speaking when he returned, TMZ reported.

The incident occurred about 10 days after an NBC report found Combs was paying fellow inmates a collective thousands of dollars monthly for services such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and even massages. He was put back into solitary confinement, which he had recently been sprung from after a brawl, and his prison release date was moved back several weeks.
