The Queen of Pop announced Thursday that she will release a new dance album in 2026 and has re-signed with Warner Records nearly two decades after leaving the label.

For the highly anticipated project — her 15th studio album and her first since 2019’s “Madame X”— Madonna will reunite with producer, songwriter, and DJ Stuart Price. The album has been described as a follow-up to her critically acclaimed “Confessions on a Dance Floor,” released 20 years ago and topping charts in more than 40 countries.

The deal also marks a homecoming for the pop superstar, who launched her record-shattering career with Warner Records and spent 24 years with the label.

“From being a struggling artist in New York City to signing a record deal to release just three singles, it seemed at the time my world would never be the same — and in fact, that couldn’t have been truer,” the “Hung Up” singer said Thursday.

“Since the beginning, Warner Records has been a real partner with me. I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations,” the seven-time Grammy winner added.

Madonna also took to Instagram to break the news, sending her devoted fanbase into a frenzy.

“Almost 2 decades later — and it feels like home with Warner Records,” she wrote, borrowing a line from her 1989 global smash hit “Like a Prayer.” She added, “Back to music, back to the dance floor, back to where it all began!”

Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson, co-chairmen of Warner Records, hailed the re-signing of the best-selling female artist of all time, calling it “a historic, full-circle moment that brings her back to the label where it all began and reaffirms her unparalleled influence, setting the stage for an exciting new era of creativity and impact.”

Madonna, whose self-titled debut album was released 42 years ago, recently celebrated her hit-making career with the massive Celebration Tour, which kicked off in London in October 2023 — just months after she was hospitalized in New York City for a reported serious bacterial infection. The tour wrapped seven months later with a record-setting finale before 1.6 million fans on Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach.

While no title for her upcoming new album has been announced, fans have long referred to it as “M15.” On Thursday, Madonna referred to it on social media as “COADF- P. 2,” or “Confessions on a Dance Floor,” part 2.
