Lisa Rinna sought the opinion of her husband Harry Hamlin on her new book You Better Believe I'm Gonna Talk About It.

The 62-year-old star has released her first memoir and was desperate to hear the verdict of her spouse - whom she describes as a "voracious reader" - on the book.

Lisa told E! News: "He's a voracious reader and he's really, really smart, so I was very nervous for him to read it. What if he said, 'Your book sucks. Nice try, but it's not good.'"

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was delighted when Harry, who she has been married to since 1997, was effusive in his praise for the memoir.

Lisa said: "He really liked it. He thought I was very brave, very vulnerable and he thought I did a great job. So, that was the most validating, because I care what he thinks more than any anybody."

The Days of Our Lives actress - who has daughters Delilah, 27, and Amelia, 24, with Harry - explained how her husband was "really moved" as he read about their marriage as well as the loss of her parents and the ups and downs of her showbiz career.

Lisa recalled: "He said my voice is loud and clear, self-deprecating (and had a) sense of humour. And he teared up, he said, all the way through, because it's a snapshot of our life, the last 34 years that we've been together."

Meanwhile, the star has claimed that she was drugged at The Traitors season four premiere party last month.

Rinna recalled how people thought she was "just drunk" because of her behaviour at the bash but she underwent a drug test afterwards, which came back positive for various substances.

Speaking on Good Day New York, she said: "I had fentanyl in my system -- I'm not kidding.

"I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines and other things. But I can't talk a lot about it, because we're still dealing with it. It was leaked, and my team is dealing with it now."

Lisa added: "Luckily, my husband was there and was able to get me out of there quickly. Because I saw other things like, 'Oh, Lisa was just drunk.' But no."
