Bravo's 'Real Housewives of Miami' on indefinite hiatus after 7 seasons
Published in Entertainment News
There won’t be any new episodes of the “Real Housewives of Miami” anytime soon, according to reports.
Sources with knowledge of the matter told TMZ that Bravo has opted to press pause on the series for the foreseeable future. Despite being beloved by fans, the hit reality show has struggled with viewership, prompting the indefinite hiatus. And while there are no plans for new episodes, the show has not yet been canceled, leaving the door open for a possible comeback or reboot.
According to Variety, the “Real Housewives of Miami” is the least watched iteration of the reality show franchise.
The news comes months after the wrap of Season 7, which saw real estate developer Stephanie Shojaee join housewives Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein, Julia Lemigova, Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen, Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton and Kiki Barth. The final episode, a reunion special, aired in October 2025.
"RHOM" premiered on Bravo back in 2011, and then ended after Season 3 in 2013. It remained on pause for eight years before getting a revival with a partially new cast for Season 4 — this time on Peacock — in 2021. It then returned to Bravo for Season 6 in 2023.
Kathleen French, senior vice president of NBCUniversal Entertainment’s unscripted current production, previously addressed the show and its lack of viewership during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter back in August 2025.
“I just want to see viewers find it, become fans and love the show as much as we do, because we just think it’s spectacular. We love the cast, we love Miami as a backdrop. It’s multicultural; these women are from all over the world,” she said. “There’s so many things about it [that] you’re not going to see in any of the other Housewives franchises.”
