“Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Miranda Hope is wading into the drama swirling around her co-star Taylor Frankie Paul,— but only to defend herself against allegations that she leaked the video that triggered the cancelation of the 22nd season of “The Bachelorette.”

Paul was slated to lead the reality show dating series, but ABC pulled the plug right after TMZ published 2023 footage that showed her attacking and throwing barstools at her ex, Dakota Mortensen, while her young daughter sat nearby.

Following its release, content creator Dana Bowling took to social media to float a couple theories about how TMZ got its hands on the clip, including that it “was leaked by one of the co-stars of ‘Secret Lives’ that does not have Taylor’s back.”

Bowling added that if she had to pick on one of the wives, her “first guess” would be Hope.

“haha the first time i saw that video was the same day you all did,” Hope responded in the comment section. “none of us girls have ever been in possession of it or any other evidence.”

After the video was made public, Hope was one of the first cast members to address the controversy, writing that she was “at a loss for words trying to process” everything.

“Everything has been really heavy to see,” she wrote at the time. “Domestic violence and abuse of any kind is something I take very seriously.”

Hope referenced her initial statement while confronting Bowling, and she also acknowledged her past personal issues — which stem from her ex-husband Chase McWhorter’s alleged involvement with Shinia Powell — with Paul.

“my intent with my statement was not to shade taylor, but to simply address that I do not support nor condone that behavior from either party,” Miranda continued. “taylor and i have been in a good place and she has apologized for both the Shinia and Chase stuff! i have my theories on who leaked the video, but i can promise you it wasn’t any of the women.”

Paul has starred on “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” since its debut in 2024. An investigation into allegations against Taylor have also resulted in a pause on production for the show’s fifth season, though it should not affect its release schedule.
