ANAHEIM, Calif. — Regal Cinemas is bringing two of Dolly Parton’s hit movies back to theaters for six days of special screenings — with all proceeds going to the country music star’s book gifting program.

Watch Parton in her role as beauty salon owner Truvy Jones in the 1989 comedy-drama, “Steel Magnolias,” this Friday, Sunday and Tuesday. Then, take in 1982’s musical comedy, “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” in which she portrays brothel owner Mona Stangley alongside the late Burt Reynolds, on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.

The films will be shown at more than 200 Regal cinemas nationwide.

How much are tickets? They’re $9.25, of course — a tribute to “9 to 5,” another one of Parton’s iconic ’80s movies.

Regal decided to show the films across the country after last weekend’s successful screenings in Tennessee, Parton’s home state.

They also wanted to give fans a way to celebrate her legacy while benefiting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which is supported by the Regal Foundation.

The singer, who died on Aug. 25, founded the program in 1995 to provide free books monthly to children from birth to age 5, regardless of family income.

“Dolly’s legacy was never meant to be something we simply preserve or look back upon,” said Jeff Conyers, president of The Dollywood Foundation. “She built things that could keep doing good in the world. Our responsibility now is to care for what she entrusted to us, help it grow thoughtfully, and make certain the love at the heart of her work continues reaching children, families and communities long into the future.”
