Barry Keoghan has undergone a skin-tightening treatment after speaking about the "abuse" he's received over his appearance.
The 34-year-old actor shared a candid look at himself undergoing XERF, a non-invasive, needle-free procedure which uses radio frequency to lift the skin on his cheeks, nose and jawline, and admitted it made him "feel better" about himself.
In a video shared by Dermaspa owner Nilam Holmes, Barry said: "I mean, I've been hearing a lot about it.
"And Nilam is very excited about it and she's great at what she does. I really mean that, and again, every time I come in, it's very relaxing and therapeutic. Nilam looks after my skin."
Footage from the treatment showed the Saltburn actor lying on a table while Nilam carried out the treatment, which costs from £4,500 for two rounds.
Barry added: "I feel better about myself.
"I look better. I think it's important to look after yourself inside and outside."
In an Instagram post to accompany the footage, Nilam noted that Barry's skin has "really improved" over the last few years.
She wrote: "I've been working with Barry for a while now, looking after his skin through different movies, campaigns and projects and the trust he places in me means a lot.
"His skin has really improved over the last few years and he looks great.
"Today we did his 2nd @xerfuk skin-tightening treatment. I was running late filming some Xerf content, so rather than make me rush what i was doing, he offered to let me film him having it! (Well he is used to being on camera after all)
"We love having you in @nilamholmesclinics Barry (sic)"
The Peaky Blinders actor previously admitted he had been "hiding away" as a result of the hurtful comments he'd seen online about his appearance.
He told SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up: "There's a lot of hate online. There's a lot of abuse of how I look, and it's kind of past the point of -- you know, everyone goes through that… but it's made me shy away. It's made me really go inside myself, not want to attend places, not want to go outside.
"It's becoming a problem… I actually don't go to places because of these things."
Barry also admitted during the interview that he couldn't help but look at social media to still read about his own public appearances, despite having "removed himself" from Instagram in 2024 shortly after splitting from Sabrina Carpenter.
He said: "I'm still a curious human being that wants to go on [the internet].
"And if I attend an event or if I go somewhere, you want to see how it's received. And it's not nice, you know?"
