Auto review: 2025 Acura RDX solves the car-buying puzzle
Published in Business News
Everyone knows the long, drawn out process of buying a car. First, you have to find what you want, what you like, what looks good, what is in your budget, what is comfortable, what your neighbor doesn’t have and, lastly, what suits your family's needs, Acura helps you solve this puzzle with the 2025 Acura RDX A-Spec AWD.
Wrapped in Urban Gray with a sporty Red interior, our RDX A-Spec showed out well with its attractive curves and aesthetics.
Powered by a 2.0-liter direct injection VTEC 4-cylinder engine, the RDX produces 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque and is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The RDX has plenty of power and has a nice exhaust sound.
The RDX boasts a tremendous sporty interior, with red seats and Alcantara finishes, while its comfort is what takes the cake. Similar to the MDX and Integra, the comfort of the seats makes driving a real pleasure and ensures passengers are comfortable and happy. Standard on our RDX tester, was the tech package, A-Spec package, and a whole host of safety features with AcuraWatch.
Acura and parent company Honda Motor Co. have done one heck of a job in keeping the long-lasting RDX appealing. It’s sporty, roomy, powerful, comfortable and affordable, appealing to all sorts of consumers. I should know, as I have been a past owner of one myself. Will we see an Acura RDX Type-S in the near future? That would align with other Acura fleet models and continue brand's renown for sportiness. Great work Acura, as usual!
