President Donald Trump is headed to Rock Hill, South Carolina, on Thursday in support of the region’s Republican candidates ahead of the midterm election on Nov. 3, according to the Republican National Committee.

The location of the rally has yet to be announced, but the Republican National Committee says doors will open at 9 a.m. and the event will begin at 11 a.m.

Trump is expected to make remarks starting at 12:30 p.m.

Guests can RSVP at Eventsgop.com. Maximum four tickets per sign-up, officials say.

Rock Hill is about a 25-mile drive south from uptown Charlotte, North Carolina, in York County.

It’s the president’s second visit to the Charlotte region in recent weeks. He made a quick stop at the Gastonia Municipal Airport on Sept. 16, to give a hometown boost to Republican Michael Whatley in his bid for North Carolina’s U.S. Senate seat. Last week, the president was in Greenville, North Carolina, for another rally.

Trump will campaign in a South Carolina congressional district deemed “solid Republican” by the Cook Political Report. His visit could support U.S. Sen. Darline Graham, who trailed U.S. Rep. Ralph Norman in York County by about 28 points in the August special primary. Graham is running against Democratic nominee Annie Andrews, a pediatrician.

South Carolina’s U.S. Senate race has grown increasingly competitive in recent weeks, as candidates and political groups spend millions and some polls show a tight race. Trump also rallied with Graham in Pendleton last week and in Myrtle Beach ahead of the competitive Republican primary. His support for Graham was consequential in her securing the Republican U.S. Senate nomination, political watchers said at the time.

Support for Graham has been lukewarm among some Republican voters, though she has secured support from Trump, Gov. Henry McMaster and U.S. Sen. Tim Scott. Norman, the congressman representing York County, said he would vote for Graham but said he wouldn’t campaign with her in a radio interview last week. Norman also ran for U.S. Senate but lost to Graham in the special Republican primary.

Norman’s son, Warren Norman, also said he would not support Graham in an editorial Friday. Norman is a Rock Hill-area developer. Former South Carolina Gov. David Beasley, a Republican, endorsed Andrews in a video on Monday.

The rally will be held in the 5th Congressional District, where Republican Wes Climer and Democratic nominee Mallory Dittmer are competing for the open U.S. House seat.

It’s still unclear which South Carolina candidates, including Graham, will attend the rally Thursday.
